Agency Overview

 

The YEP organization was chartered at AHS in March of 2012 by Kim McCully-Mobley and Brad Boettler through the support and encouragement of administration and the community.
 
We have:
 
--hosted a Woodbutchers' Follies Talent Show
--written several grants through Community Foundation of the Ozarks
--participated in a poverty camp experience
--worked on a program to showcase traditions/sense of place writing
--hosted fundraisers through chili suppers, spaghetti dinners
--partnered with classes at school to host showcase events
--promoted literacy campaigns
--provided mini-classroom grants to teachers for a variety of projects
--awarded dual credit scholarships
--and assisted with dialogue
 
and education to help fight the war on poverty in the Ozarks and promote a LEGACY of Community Impact projects designed to create and promote a sense of "paying it forward."
