Did You Know?
Springfield Little Theatre, your community theatre, is a NON-PROFIT organization that receives no sales tax, city, or county revenue.
Springfield Little Theatre operates a nationally recognized education program that provides unparalleled theatrical, social, and educational experiences to thousands of young people each season
It is Springfield Little Theatre’s desire that the community theatre experience be an inclusive one, not an exclusive one. With your financial support this end-of-year, we will be able to provide scholarship assistance for those who may not be able to afford the “luxury” of arts training, expand our education outreach to the underserved, make necessary equipment purchases, fund professional guest artist visits, offer a free performance to every single Springfield Public School 4th grader, and maintain an attitude of service and collaboration, “answering the call” in our community to support local events, fundraisers, and educational offerings.
In our mind, exposure to the arts is not a luxury; it is vital to the soul of an individual and the spirit of a community!
Theatre students learn the values of accountability, discipline, teamwork, kindness, hard work, and play—attributes that will serve them in any of their future endeavors
Graduates of SLT programs emerge as confident, creative community leaders, excelling in multi-facets of business, education, and the arts
We truly believe that There is a Little Theatre In All of Us. Help us help a child discover the Little Theatre in them. Help them spark their passion. Help them walk taller. Help them find their voice. Help them shine their light.
Thank you so very much for your consideration of support of theatre education, arts outreach, and Springfield Little Theatre. Your support will ensure we reach $15,000 to ensure everyone who desires can benefit from the education program and all of the opportunities it has to offer!
