GDA Building Campaign

Project of
Gloria Deo Academy

Parents across Springfield are choosing GDA. GDA has grown into one of Springfield’s largest and fastest-growing private schools—we are busting at the seams. Through God's blessing, we purchased a campus on Golden Avenue where we can grow and thus began the campaign to remodel and expand.

Project Overview

We want to prepare thoughtful Christian leaders to impact their community through service, leadership and character.

There are many challenges facing our country and it is our belief that they are best solved with critical thinking, guided by Godly wisdom and virtue.

At Gloria Deo Academy, we prepare future leaders and thinkers who will help solve the challenges of the future. These kids will one day lead with certainty and peace in the face of misinformation and distorted moral views

Parents across Springfield are choosing GDA.

GDA has grown into one of Springfield’s largest and fastest-growing private schools—we are busting at the seams. Through God's blessing, we purchased a campus on Golden Avenue where we can grow and thus began the campaign to remodel and expand.

Then COVID-19 showed up.

Some of our campaign plans were set aside so we could support our kids and families as they navigated a completely new landscape. The year 2020 was a difficult one, but our kids and school grew despite the challenges. Beyond the interruptions of the pandemic, we remain dedicated to the growth and development of this school. Our students need the construction of the upstairs floor of our Golden building completed to continue development for the sake of their growth.

We need your help to make this happen.

Your giving and support claims stake on the future of Springfield and our larger world. Every gift, from the largest to the smallest, help us develop a campus that was interrupted by unforeseen challenges.

We thank the people of the Ozarks for giving.

We believe the students developed at GDA, especially during the pandemic, will become the strongest, bravest Christian leaders in a world that needs them. Your gift to help us recover from an unprecedented event will change lives forever. Thank you for being a part of the generous community we live in.

About Gloria Deo Academy

From the very beginning, Gloria Deo Academy has endeavored to prepare students for secondary studies and to equip them for their life’s calling.  In 2005, Joy Davis struggled to find a safe place for her children to grow and learn.  Many schools have slowly moved away from Judeo-Christian values and her wish was to create an environment where students felt safe and teachers could unashamedly stand on the authority of the Bible with a rigorous academic curriculum. Mrs. Davis started GDA with 45 students. Since 2005, GDA has expanded to over 500 students and three campuses. Joy is the mother of four children, three of which have graduated from GDA (one is currently enrolled). She is passionate about Christian classical education.
