Project Overview

Ride it out with #quaranTEAMSGF!

Your group rides have been postponed. It's a real bummer — but it's what we all need to do to support flattening the COVID-19 curve. It's times like these when we need to remember the top three reasons why group rides are so great: the joy of bicycle riding, supporting a local nonprofit and seeing all your friends. Let's focus on what we CAN do. Bicycle riding is not cancelled. Giving is not cancelled. Miss seeing all of your friends? Call them and encourage them to join the #quaranTEAMSGF!

Who: You

What: Solo rides of any distance

When: Anytime during Bike, Walk and Wheel Week, May 9–17th

Where: Indoor or outdoor, provided you practice safe physical distancing

Registration: There isn’t any. We encourage you to donate online or by mail.

1. Anyone may participate — just Ride It Out!

2. Brag about your ride on social media — set the post to public and use #quaranTEAMSGF #BikeWalkWheelWeekSGF #CFOCOVID19.

3. Every donor of $25 or more receives a "Ride It Out" custom t-shirt.

4. Every donor receives a raffle ticket to win a sweet prize donated by Kuat Racks.

5. Net proceeds will be split equally between Ozark Greenways & Community Foundation of the Ozarks’ COVID-19 Response & Recovery Fund.

6. If you donate at $25 or more, be sure to email your t-shirt size to Mary before May 23. T-shirts are made by American Apparel, adult sizing XS-XXL. We will email you notification of when and where to pick up your t-shirt. The T-shirts are sponsored by Mattax Neu Prater.

7. Your donations stay local!

COVID-19 Reminders

Please be smart while being active outside! Please stay six feet away from others, avoid gathering in groups, cover your coughs and sneezes, and stay home if you’re showing symptoms of illness. Some folks may choose to wear face masks or buffs to cover their mouth and nose. Visit Springfield-Greene County's Road to Recovery Order Phase 1 webpage to learn more.

Welcome to #quaranTEAMSGF

Thanks so much for your participation! We hope you enjoy your solo ride. Be sure to brag about it to friends and post on social media using #quaranTEAMSGF and #BikeWalkWheelWeekSGF.

Ride It Out!

We are heading into our final weekend to Ride It Out with #quaranTEAMSGF. Have fun riding your bike, indoors or out, in support of CFO & OG.

I'll touch base with everyone that hasn't sent in their t-shirt size on Thursday, and will then place the t-shirt order. I'll be sure to let everyone know when/where to pick up your t-shirt and when the drawing for the KUAT bike rack will happen.

Happy trails,

3 Things...

Thank you for joining #quaranTEAMSGF and raising $3,195 for OG & CFO!

A few things:

1. $25+ Donors: please email mary@ozarkgreenways.org your t-shirt size, if you haven't done so already. They are American Apparel Unisex T-Shirts sizes XS and up. Many thanks to Mattax Neu Prater for sponsoring the t-shirts!

2. All Donors: We will do the raffle drawing for the sweet KUAT rack on Friday, May 29th before 5 pm.

3. Optional: Please email me any photos that you’d like to share from your ride, and I will use these in a post on social media and Instagram.

Looking forward to hearing back from you soon,

Mary Kromrey
