Project Overview

Care to Learn's mission every day is to meet the emergent health, hunger and hygiene needs and give every student the resources they need to be successful in school.

Without a doubt, so many have faced uncertainty, frustration, and fear during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those feelings are not new to under-resourced students.

They face these feelings daily as they go to school hungry, in clothing that doesn't fit, without a shower, tired, or sick. And as the pandemic drags on, students' access to the help and support they need has been interrupted time and time again.

Throughout this tumultuous time, Care to Learn has been there for every student that needed us. Life dramatically shifted after spring break of March 2020 and

Care to Learn's spending increased more than 50% to keep up with the soaring needs.

We saw a staggering 151% increase in hygiene spending as families struggled to provide their students with necessary items.

Lastly, we had a 26% increase in spending on food as families faced the reality of losing access to food provided by the schools.

To date, Care to Learn has met 1.75 MILLION student needs, and we are on track to meet our 2 millionth need by the end of this year.

We need your help today. Stand with us and help us continue providing the health, hunger, and hygiene resources that students need to succeed, whether they are learning virtually or back in the classroom.

The fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic is far from over, and it is more important now than ever that we make sure every student has the resources they need.

Your donation today will immediately impact our students today, and our community's future. Please join Care to Learn in supporting our students' success by making a donation today!
